As a Christian who fears God, is their any need to confess Adultery to your partner? Or should someone just pray to God for forgiveness and move on? Assuming a secret child is involved, should the Adultery still be confessed or should it be sealed after prayers of forgiveness have been offered to God?
Confession to ones partner should be done after guidance from a good and mature Christian counselor.

Please contribute and advise.
It is better you confess it to your partner and lose the marriage, if that's what it becomes than losing your soul. Any unconfessed sin will hunt you down and cost you your soul.

When you said whether you can only confessed it to God, remember it's not God you offended rather your partner. This lesson can be drawn in Matt 5:23-24.

The reason why God frown at sin is not because your sin affects Him, No, it is because your sin impact or affects your neighbors negatively.

The men should confess because women are soft and will always forgive
BUT
A woman should NEVER accept and confess to adultery because men do not ever forgive

Confess to God and tell your partner if you know he or she can forgive you ..but some people can't forgive no matter what ,telling them that you cheat may end the union.. Anytime we offend anyone ,it is their creator that will avenge for them. Once you make peace with God ,your sin will be forgiven..the other leg is just to maintain a clean conscience .

You are not a Christian if you go around committing adultery. You need not put Christianity and adultery together in a sentence.
but Christian ask for forgiveness of sin. So what sin exactly. Please put don't put Christian and sin together in a sentence.

Then when Christians ask for forgiveness, what sin again is it a different one from adultery

Confession to ones partner should be done after guidance from a good and mature Christian counselor.a Christian who fears God as you said above will not commit adultery,those that fear God will escape such, marriage is honourable in all and the bed undefiled, whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.God has given us his spirit which can help live above many nonsense corruption in the world,the power to live above sin,watch,pray, follow the consel of God and you will not fall into the snare of the devil,sin against the temple of God which is your body is deadly.

A Christian can commit adultery, it happened to men of God, who shared a deep relationship with God like David and others, shows our human nature but one can easily get up from such a fall with the help of Christ.

A man shall leave his mother and father and together with the woman they shall become one.

Yes he/she must tell the partner because they have defiled God's promises, so they both can ask God for his mercy.

A Christian, fears God and heknows that it is better for him to die than to commit adultery, so their won't be any need for confessing.

It is church goers who stupidly think that they may be they have one chance of committing adultery, which is because they don't know God!
