The Chairman of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal has told lawyers representing different parties in court that the myriads of cases before the court will be decided on their merits as the court will not entertain technicalities.

This serves as warning to some lawyers who are notorious at looking for loopholes in cases to exploit and get the case thrown out on technicalities rather than see the case decided on its merit.

That was a great take away from today's hearing.

Let us hope they live up to their words and not be like a mahood yakubu the criminal INEC boss who assured Nigerians and even went to the world stage at chatham house in the UK to assure and promise that results will be uploaded at real time. Only to give Nigeria a criminally powered election, the worst since independence.

Ok! Bad news for those who are hoping on the learned judges to rely on technicalities instead of merits of each of the contentious issues before it.

Lol!

I wonder if you are living in today’s world or in another.

If not, who doesn’t know that Wole Olanipekun who is Tinubu’s lead counsel is the chairman of technicalities in Nigeria?

So, it’s actually a loss for Tinubu and Wole Olanipekun.

All I know is if INEC can't give us concrete evidence, they should be sent to jail and Obi declared winner. If you are not bold enough to show us the evidence in the material and tools used, Yakubu should be sent to jail for resources wasting and democratic sabotage. We will remember the names of the judges and we will make sure that there names will never be recognised for good.

Lol..

Wole must be making you feel dizzy!

He’s yet to start anything! Apc lawyers are respondent! Active lawyers atm are the opposition lawyers. If this news is true, the court must have seen the opposition lawyers being trying to run some inaccurate shiii..

When the main hearing starts, that’s when case begins! wink

Wole Olanipekun

Certificate perjury case of Buhari was stalled with various technicalities by wole olanipekun SAN..in 2015....while Justice Ademola Adeniyi keeps entertaining frivolous applications to stall the case from entering Trial proper...After swearing in of Buhari...Justice Ademola adeniyi was arrested in the night in Gestapo's style... His doors and windows were vandalized and he was taken away on allegations of corruption which later was unfounded but another judge won the case for Buhari

Subtle warning against Peter Obi, he thinks he can use online source and shallow surface forfeiture against Tinubu during court hearing, the case will be thrown out like bad Ojukwu for lack of sufficient evidence and jurisdiction.

Stay away from mkporu mirri.

Obi cannot be declared a winner and you know it.

Even if elections are canceled (which is highly improbable) a run off would be held between APC and PDP
Even if Tinubu loses (which is also highly improbable) Atiku would be declared

Wole make me feel dizzy? Naaaah!

Meanwhile, everybody in Nigeria knows that Wole is chief of technicalities in Nigeria. Again, it’s Tinubu’s lawyers that have been dodging service and refusing to file responses in time just to waste time.

Is like you are reading from the back of your phone.

So, proving a point by mentioning Wole olanipekun's name now means something to you?

Why are all tinubu's defenders always sounding daft? Please, enlighten me on this incomparable daftness

Good one from the justices of the presidential election petition tribunal. Tinubu’s counsel, Olanipekun technicality will be struck out in the court of justice.

This goes to show you don't know what technicalities means in court cases. To educate you small;
1) The defense lawyers are mostly the ones using technicalities to jeopardize the smooth hearing of the case. Eg c case not properly filed, court jurisdiction, capitalizing on the opponent mistake etc.
2) For the complainant, every point raised is a substantial one with witnesses to prove it.
3) Delaying the case unnecessarily until the statutory 180 days are over etc.

These are some of the technicalities which are often deployed by defense lawyers to hinder the plaintiff from presenting concrete evidence against the defendant.
