Hello Nairalander,
I need a help regarding O negative blood type complications regarding pregnancy.
I am aware that if a lady with a -O blood group conceive and the baby happen to have a positive blood group, complication could arise which might lead to miscarriage. I also know that there is an injection given to such patient to reduce the chances of miscarriage.
But recently one of my brother who happen to be a biochemist also told me that the chance of ladies or men with such blood group having a male child is very small.
I have search this online but I have not found any information to support his claim but I have discovered that among all my friends and relations that have partners with this blood group, none of them have male child. In fact I know a friend who has four children and they are all females.

I would appreciate Doctors on Nairaland to enlighten me in this regards to guide in choose of life partners.

I know Nigerians are religious but please I do not welcome explanation from religious perspective
