I recently started attending the ECK center in Uyo, I'm a practical person that believes in what I see, I'm also interested in building my spiritual consciousness, I decided to join ECKANKAR because I've read a lot about it's ability to awaken one's spiritual consciousness.
I'm a kind of person that believes the world is metaphysical.
But what makes me a little bit confused is that, I've heard that some members sacrifice something in order to get more from eckankar, but I've been trying to find out from people I meet at the center and no one is telling me what I want to hear.
Tho, I see beautiful faces, nice families that are not showing any signs of troubles, I see complete family with kids, all glowing.
And I love their ways of worship, but I tried to ask some deep questions when I attend meetings, but all they tell me is 'go and sing the HU'
Tho I've been singing the HU' and I'm seeing good results, and someone once told me that it's only when you want MORE that you will give, but my fear is still... Would the Mahanta take anything from me?

I heard from a very reliable source that Eckankar is the third fastest growing religious group in Nigeria currently.

Honestly, there must be something about them that has led to the boom in membership. It appears that more people are willing to give it a try since it is not an occultic group like we have been told by "spirit filled Christians".

Dis format nor fit work. We nor join.

Even if person tell you, you go doubt until you personally experience something. Experience, they say, is the best teacher
