He led the way while she followed him, they crept up the steps silently till they got to the bathroom, "this place is cool" she whispered "yeah but the floor is a bit wet" he replied. she stood in front of him and he held her close and they moved to the wall. "I can't stay like this for long" she whispered, "relax you will be fine" he said. They kept whispering to each other oblivious of the footsteps approaching them. they seemed glued together until the bulb was switched on, suddenly a huge object descended on them and they separated immediately and tried to escape but their assailant pursued them and cornered them...

"Stupid things" Mark sighed as he used his broom to deal with the two cockroaches in his bathroom before he swept them into the dustbin, then he eased himself and he went back to bed.
