Which kind condition Unilag dey give person just because of aptitude test that I can't use my phone that I must on computer device using web cam abeg who has better way to run this exam easily if one do not have system with cam?

Please can we run this test on phone? I was scheduled for test btw Mon & Tue, see there demands and what I should do below.

The 2023/2024 University of Lagos, School of Postgraduate Studies qualifying examination has been scheduled for Tuesday 12th September 2023 and Wednesday 13th September, 2023. You are expected to take the 30 mins test anytime between 10am - 3pm within the scheduled dates

Kindly login through the below URL with your application number as username and your surname in lowercase as password.

Examination Instructions
1. This is a competitive qualifying aptitude test. Candidates must comport themselves accordingly. Candidates are advised to have a reliable internet connection before attempting the online aptitude test.
2. Your activities during the period of the aptitude test will be monitored and recorded. Candidates will be required to attempt the test with a webcam and microphone enabled device. (For optimal experience, use of mobile phones for the aptitude test is discouraged).
3. Candidates are forbidden from covering their webcams during the period of the aptitude test. Our inability to see the candidate at any time during the test may result in disqualification.
4. During the aptitude test, you are not permitted leave your position. You are advised to adequately prepare before commencing the test.
5. In the course of the aptitude test, you are not permitted to click outside of the examination page for another tab or any other application on the computer for any reason, including system calculator. Departure from the test tab may result in disqualification.
6. Nobody is permitted to be around you during the period of the test, not even members of your family. You will be disqualified if anybody is seen around you during the test.
7. The duration of the aptitude test is 30 minutes. The time starts to count immediately you click the start button and continues to count even if you log out before your 30 minutes lapses.
8. In the event that you run out of time, your aptitude test will automatically be submitted.
9. Use of face mask or face caps during the test is prohibited.

Why can't they ask us to come to the school to write it?

You can decide to write your exam on Tuesday or Wednesday 12th and 13th Sept respectively

And for your sake, study the past questions. They repeated so many questions.

I had problem with there network today it took time to login after successful login I answered three or four questions clicked on next all of the sudden I was logged out this about five minutes I logged in, I tried logging in again I got pop up message saying you are prevented from taking this test we cannot see your face. Infact my face is showing boldly in the circle appeared on their site. I logged in till I tired the refused me to complete my test mean Unilag still owing 24 minutes and some seconds. I had sent them email and on there ICT WhatsApp they haven't respond.

Wow! So sorry about the experience you had. I just hope they do something about it and not blame you for the situation.

They'll do something about it, it's a regular occurence. I remember a few years back when I applied for master's at Unilag, a similar thing happened and I sent a message to the ICT and dean of PG school. I rewrote the test, passed the CBT well & got the admission but I opted for a different university as I had 2 admission offers.
