As a livestock farmer, I'm planning to start production and sales of broiler birds. I have a cage already that can accommodate atleast 40 broiler birds.

Before starting I'd like to seek opinions and advice from successful livestock farmers.

1. What breed is the best? I planned going for cobb or abor acre.

2. Planning to get broiler birds at 3wks old (due to the housing system available which is a battery cage), is it financially advisable to invest?

3. What are strict dos and don't to prevent loss, damages and regret?

4. Types of boosters and vaccine required to enhance growth and boost immunity?.

5. Is there any reliable source for birds, vaccines and others within Alakia to Celica area in ibadan?

6. Your best advise.
