The Nigerian Police Force, Abia State command has invited gospel artist Felix Ndukwe for slapping an On Air Personality(OAP) and staff of Rapid FM Mr Temple Barrah popularky known as TC Barrah during the Inauguration of the Abia State Governor Dr Alex Otti on the 29th of May 2023.

Narrating his ordeal on his Facebook page, Barrah said the gospel singer slapped him for refusing to performing at the Umuahia Township Stadium and ordered his boys to beat him up.

"On the 29th of May, 2023 at the Umuahia Township stadium I was slapped by Felix Ndukwe on the podium during the performances; he also asked his boys to chase me out of the stage. I refused to leave, I had to call on two mobile policemen who could do nothing but beg them to leave me alone to carry out my MC duties"

"He collected the mic insisting he must perform after I announced Ohafia's finest Emmanuel Ndukwe - King OT to take the stage,at some point, I had to run to Abia Comets office to get help and when we got to the podium the crowd had moved to the gate and had become irate; threatening to beat him up for disrupting the show; but for the security men he was asked to apologize but he blatantly refused. I walked away at the instance of Coach Victor Nwakama" he said.

Mr TC Barrah said his only offence against Felix Ndukwe was not calling him to perform.

"Felix Ndukwe wasn't on my list of performing artists and I had strict instructions to follow"

PUO reports that the gospel artist Felix Ndukwe is now threatening to deal with the Abia born Oap for not allowing him to perform on that day.

Meanwhile, our correspondent gathered that the gospel artist has been invited by the Police authorities in Abia over the incident.

My Jehovah witness friend prefers listening to hip hop and bongo than gospel songs. He said majority of gospel singers are just hustling for the rabas not for ministration or impacting lives.

He asked me "why do gospel singers speak in tongues during a recorded song" ? A song you spent hours in the studio to make, after over 50 rehearsals. Do you also add the "speaking in tongues" during rehearsals? Or the thing will just come during the final touch of the song?
