It seems Gbaja is indeed working/acting in that capacity until official confirmation. Some offices can't be void for long. The news agencies are not totally wrong but will have to be more cautious in future in their attempts to BREAK news.

BAT wants to lead alone?? He needs to start making appointments immediately.

BAT is ready, seems he's re-strategising and leaving the cards a bit open until the National Assembly positions are officially decided.
i expect things to pick up around his June 12 democracy day broadcast and events.

This back and front.... the government will continue to give room to speculations if decision on appointment are not made in due time just like Buhari did

I'm surprised that the government has not taken off immediately.

SsG, cos, private Secretary, SAs and other appointment don't need the Nass approval

Maybe they are playing safe until June 11 when the Nass leadership is in place so they can compensate regions that would not be accommodated by the NASS affairs

Our mainstream media are no longer reliable. Same way one of them publish fake news that CBN has devaluate the naira and some of them also publish wrong information about Peter Obi tribunal case falsely that "Court has step down the case".

I will rather take my news from trust blogger like David Hundeyin and co. and probably ARISE TV. You see all this Print Media they have lost their integrity.

They dont need to do that anymore... I guess they panicked over the announcement because the Gbaja is still the current speaker of the house of reps... and has now yet resigned from both that position as well as his current candidacy which he won as a rep in the february elections. However, these issues have now been clarified by dating the date of assumption of office as COS to a date in June that exceeds that date he will officially be handing over to the next speaker...and will by then be able to resign and get a new member into his rep seat.. There is no way anyone will expect such minor technicality to bar him from being able to transition from being a mere floor member of the house..into an executive position. BAT needs his wife and Gbaja in the house.
