The matter is this Igbos states have refused to tax businesses to allow them freedom to grow ....this was systematically done since 1970s

But now it's time we at least tax buildings to develop our infrastructure

20% tax on the rental values of buildings in nnewi can raise over 30 billion yearly ....this can go along way to building basic infrastructures

Nnewi is supposed to be neat with important urban roads paved.

But problem is that nearly all the state governors in the SE are in the shoddy business of governing the state capital 98%. Rest of the state rot away.
The crooked governors build some broad roads in the state capital, lite up the roads; and one would call president Buhari to commission the roads in the state capital.
President Buhari commissioned roads in Owerri for about three times since 2020. The other once deceloping cities in the state rot away. Because no governor has come from those Okigwe and Orlu areas.
