The player's hand in question was in a natural position and static, he never stretched it to prevent a goal bound ball.

Firstly, that isnt a natural position. In football, a natural position is when your arm is by your body.

Secondly, in a box. Your hands(the two) must always be behind your back or place to your body. Anything other than that, and the ball touches yours arm. It is handball.

Lastly, there is nothing like 'he wanted to remove his hand' in a box. A defender hand in that position and at that moment ought be behind his back. Or raised in the air when making a player to avoid contact with the opposition or pushing.

The ref. has no business with whether you are about to remove your hand or not. If e touch your hand, then e touch your hand be that.

Once the arm is stretched out, it gets into an unnatural position. Here, if the ball in play touches a player's arm, it becomes a foul- a handball. If it's within the 18 yard area, it becomes a penalty. Is this too difficult for people to digest?

What do you mean by 'should he cut his hand' ... The laws are simple. Any ball contact with hand in the box is penalty except when it occurred when a playing is falling, trying to protect his eyes, or private organ or having his hand lying entirely on his body. Reason why players device the means to always put their hands behind their back whenever they are in the box.

The defender in this case had his hand stretched out. His hand was out of position. There is nothing like he did it voluntary or involuntary. As far as your hand is stretched outward. It is a penalty. Simple.
