It is the unofficial language in Nigeria. Alot of pidgin words and slangs contains Yoruba and most people speak them.

Despite Hausa been one of the largest spoken languages in Africa, the truth is Hausa culture didn't evolve with time. They became like spartan(very rigid); hardly do you see their professionals in key areas in large numbers both at home and abroad.
This is one aspect where Yoruba culture stands better off, which outsiders are noticing.

The same person wey create thread dey use him moniker and alternate monikers dey reply himself. The goal is to make the average Yoruba person on nairaland develop a deep-seathed hatred for Igbo people. And so far, it has been working due to the ineptness of Nairalands moderators.

But what is a win when you cannot focus on your own win and celebrate your tribe? Are you truly winning if all you can think about is another tribe? Are you sure you're not under a spell? Are you sure you're not under THEIR spell? If it's not inferiority complex then what explains why you've become so obsessed with a particular tribe that you can't focus on yours anymore?
Did you read the article before displaying your envy for Yoruba race. Where did OP mentioned Igbo? Is this not a good news that should be spread?

I've seen the same in Oyo Ogun and Osun, these are southwestern states.. the recent northern invasions and herdsmen attacks makes it clear that same is in the north too.. Why beautifully covering it on the igbos?
