When I take into consideration the totality of factors that led to the emergence of PBAT as president, you will agree with me that PO was the the single most important factor why PBAT was able to defeat PDP and Atiku. If OBI had worked and campaigned for PDP, i can say with reasonable certainty that we will not be having a PBAT today so cut the guy some slack and give some appreciation where its due.

It is not entirely fair to hold Obi accountable for actions of his followers, remember, they are adults and he is not responsible for them. Also, these individuals might be frustrated for Buhari's 8 years rule and venting their anger on the APC Presidential Candidate.

The North has more crowd and Obi did not win there. Obi did not perform well in the South South as well. In the west Obi did not get much votes except Lagos.

I always try to be fair and objective in my thought process.!

The campaign was hot and Obi being very busy campaigning for elections, do you seriously think he would have had the time to start apologizing for misdeeds of adults he had no control over.

Instead of blaming Obi, why not blame the likes Seun Osewa who did not control Nairaland and allowed hate and tribalism to fester unchecked. Blame the moderators of Twitter who allowed abuses and hateful speeches be perpetuated on their platform.
