The House of Reps member, Solomon Bob (PDP, Rivers) was interviewed on Channels TV after the Presidents meeting with the House of Assembly yesterday and had this to say:

Interviewer: You were at the villa today, you met with the President, so how did that go?

"Well I think it's an opportune time for me to say my erm, talk about what went down today, You know I'm not in the business of praise singing or you know eye service, but today I watched a president who showed confidence. You know I was really inspired by his speech. It was perhaps the most inspiring speech ive seen by a Nigerian president since I came of age watching politics you know.

He covered all the matters, I mean the entire field. He spoke about Unity, he spoke about politics being over and now to focus on
governance. The speech was exemplary he had no paper in his hand, no prompter nothing. It was quite inspiring the performance by
the president, I was really inspired.
Later the president had to leave but everybody who was there you know, had a positive take about what happened. He spoke with authority and a lot of confidence."
