That's what happen when the govt employ unschooled miscreants and hand them uniforms to carry out official duties without properly training them on public safety and respect for civil rights. Public servants become Public Lords when they tend to see their uniforms as the legitimate power to oppress the ordinary citizens. From the Military to the police, the FRSC, VIO and LASMA (in Lagos) all officials hide under the covering of the uniform to oppress. The VIO officials are the most heartless and untrained personal in Nigeria. The Devil can even be kind enough to forgive, but not the VIO people no matter how genuinely u make a case and appeal. Those people are demons. No VIO staff will make heaven, I swear. |
