Tinubu increased fuel price from 197 to 520. Increased electricity bill. Added 7.5% VAT on desiel. Increased university tuition to between 200,000 to 400,000. Devalued naira from 425/$ to 820/$. He has continued to roll out more punitive measures aimed at punishing the masses. All these combined has skyrocketed inflation and made millions of Nigerians to sink deeper into crushing poverty. He didn't for once consider the plight of the suffering masses who can't even feed or meet their basic needs. They said our subsidized petrol is going to other African countries and for that reason, he won't pay subsidy anymore. In this age, there are tracking systems using radar that can trace tankers. But no, Nigerians must suffer for their own incompetence! Instead of reducing cost of governance and crazy salaries/bonuses the politicians allocated to themselves, Tinubu even increased it. Yet he hadn't considered NLC's demand to increase minimum wage. For those celebrating this wicked man because they've been blinded by religious and ethnic bigotry, just know that you will suffer the consequences. My heart goes out to those who rejected this Nebuchadnezzar. All these monies they've taken from the masses will still be looted. At this point, only Obi will save Nigeria or else the country is doomed. Nigeria is headed on a Zimbabwean crash. 1 Like |

If Tinubu is likened to Nebuchadnezzar, hope you know Babylon became a very great and powerful nation, to the controlling of other nations under him, to the extent that his heart was lifted up against GOD in pride and arrogance to his fall? So, what part is Tinubu comparative to Nebuchadnezzar?  Let's be realistic here; I am neutral when it comes to politicians. I support none of them, because to me, they're all same. But, Tinubu continued what Buhari had implemented on the case of fuel subsidy removal. Due to the subsidy removal, (because most things in this country rely too much on gas/crude and the dollar) prices of everything are bound to skyrocket. On devaluing the Naira (₦), which is another major factor behind hikes in prices of every commodities in the country, I'll tell you there are some people jumping up happily right now over it because it favors them. Just pray harder, work smarter, and earn massively to rise above the punitive measures these country have been doling out every new tenure. People's personal opinions are relatively based on their perceptions, OP may be right and he may be wrong.
