Blackmailing Omo Agege Won’t Give You Appointment; Tinubu Is Not a Political Novice - Owelle

The Owelle of Onicha Olona, who also doubles as a Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Delta State chapter, has said that the multifaceted lies and blackmail targeted at the former deputy senate president, Olorogun Ovie Omo Agege, by agents of political jobbers all in desperation to secure a prominent position in this new administration, failed to realize that Tinubu is not a political novice and is not blind to the truth and reality on the ground regarding the results from various polling units across the country in the 2023 presidential election.

Those political chameleons who are behind the propaganda against Sen Ovie Omo Agege were simply out for presidential patronage, seeking all possible means to get President Bola Tinubu, whose electoral victory they made no effort to contribute to.

These political opportunists, who are rampaging the media with uncivilized and primitive campaigns against the Obarisi of the Urhobo nation, were nowhere to be found in all APC campaigns and meetings. Thus, they failed to deliver their units for any APC candidates in the last elections, specifically in the Delta North senatorial district. I gave our party 5/5; they should show their unit results before attacking the pillar of the APC in Delta State. What is their contribution to the emergence of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu?

I need to state categorically that the 2023 general election in Delta State yielded unprecedented results that made Delta APC secure two out of the three senatorial elections, one federal constituency election, and seven State House of Assembly elections. Political benefits across the world are all about results after elections. Let them show their polling unit results instead of blackmailing people.

Nobody is a fool; stop blackmailing Ovie Omo Agege, trying to deceive the presidency for personal interest when they did not work for the party in their respective wards or even units. This set of people is only after personal interest, not the betterment of Mr. President.

According to him, political appointment is not for those who were not able to win their units, so people blackmailing Ovie Omo Agege to get political patronage are doing a terrible thing to their families, not Ovie Omo Agege. There is no alternative to operation "show your results" in the presidential election. Tinubu is not Buhari.

Don’t deceive yourself. You cannot deceive President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Do you think you can carry that kind of blackmail around and deceive our Tinubu? Tinubu is smarter than that. We are watching them.

Our history will judge that at a time when our party needs to stand up and defend itself at the presidential tribunal, some disgruntled elements started to bring up an agenda of disunity.

Those listening to the blackmail from this set of political jobbers parading themselves as Delta APC members should demand their unit results in all the elections of 2023 to prove their commitment to the progress of the Party. I urge the President and the National Leadership of the party to be wary of this set of people whose mission is to reap from where they did not sow."

All the blackmailing they did to Godswill Akpabio, he still got Tinubu’s support to be SP. Adams Oshiomhole Will single handedly pick Edo state Minister. Oba of Benin will nominate some heads of parastatals.

So if Oshiomhole picks Omo-Agege for Tinubu, Tinubu will never reject Oshiomhole’s pick. But if Oshiomhole picks Omo-Mushin or Omo-Ojuelegba, that’s Waterloo for Omo-Agege.

Omoagege is from Delta state, Oshiomhole is from Edo state. Why should Oshiomole be the one to pick or nominate ministers and appointees from Delta?
