In a time that garri (cassava flakes) is seen as a life saver, I dread eating it

Garri is something you can easily make when hungry. It requires less resources. It can also be combined with different food (Kuli Kuli, groundnut, coconut, beans etc)

But I noticed that anytime I eat it, I have stomach upset and I have to use the rest room up to four times before my stomach gets okay. I also take diarrhoea medicine as well.

Initially it happened with just yellow garri, now I react to both the yellow and white (ijebu) garri.

What could be wrong?

Ur stomach reacts to the cyanide present in garri

Your stomach is simply garri intolerant.
Do your system a favour, and stop drinking garri.
Not every good thing is good for everybody.

Have you gone for stool analysis to check for infection (food poisoning). It could be something antibiotics will take care of. Good luck
