The football world has changed drastically over the years. Before, football used to be dominated by the same countries because others did not pay so much attention. Now that things have changed, even countries like Brazil who were considered threats can be beaten by Senegal and others. This article list the five countries that the author thinks are finished FOOTBALLING nation's:

1. Nigeria

Nigeria used to be Africa's football powerhouse. Just the name Nigeria, it used to scare many teams. However, the times have changed. Even Guinea Bissau can beat Nigeria convincingly. One fact however is that Nigeria has many star FOOTBALLERS but they have failed to assemble a team that can win them trophies. Nigerian supporters still live with illusions that they are the best in Africa when in actual sense that time already passed. We don't see Nigeria winning any big trophy in these present times. Maybe they can do so at Junior level where they use over aged players.

2. Ghana

We have told you football times have changed, who knew that Ghana will need special CASIO CALCULATORS to qualify for AFCON. As it is, the Black Stars are at the verge of not qualifying. The same problem with Nigeria is what is affecting Ghana. They have big stars but they can't form a team. They depend on Juju boys from the Ayew family who can't inspire them to win bigger tournaments. This is why most of the Ghanaians born abroad would rather play for European teams than represent the West African nation.

3. Tunisia

Tunisia was also one of the dominant teams in Africa. However, the country is no longer a force to reckon with. At any point l, they can lose even to teams considered small like Zambia which has assembled a youthful deadly side ready to conquer anyone in Africa.

4. Ivory Coast

We know that Ivory is ZAMBIA'S customer at any day. However, this team was and still is a star studded side. From the time they won AFCON in 2015, their have been down.
