My Dad "Lt. Okwori John Akpa JP" was a graduate of UNIJOS, Studied Zoology and a member of Teacher Registration council of Nigeria. He work for over 32 years with Teaching Service Board in Benue State and rose to the rank of Deputy Director in TSB. On the 6th of November 2018, my father returned from work around 3PM complain of Chest pain and died around 5pm same day in St. Mary's hospital Okpoga Benue State. Prior to his death, Ortom the Former Governor of Benue state was owing Benue workers over 6months of unpaid salary, no money to even feed talk more of medical check up. I was servicing in Akwa Ibom State receiving #19800 from NYSC which is not enough for anything. After my Dad died, Benue State Government didn't Pay My Dad's Death Benefits, Gratuity and even the Pension he has been contributing for over 32years. When I asked someone to assist us process my dad's benefits, he said a Government that can't pay those alive I am talking about the dead?. Tears dropped out of my eyes. My siblings dropped out of school during the period, life became more difficult. Things fall apart, we passed through difficulties, no body was there to assist us.the experience I never wish anyone in life and destiny. But God kept us. Till today nothing has been done about the payment and Ortom want to become Senator and install another PDP Governor. It will never happen both in the spiritual realm and the real life. Ortom rubbish my father and God will pay him back. He will face more challenges than my family is facing today. I wish him and his family everything I went through in life and destiny. If God exist he will face more challenges.

There's nothin human about Ortom. I have my doubts it's the same blood that flows through our veins and that of every human being that Ortom has flowing through his.

The man cares only about himself, hates to see people around him prosper, has a vision to become the biggest illegitimate property owner in Nigeria, and has a death wish on Benue people.

For the first time in my life, I could beat my chest, put up my index finger, and proclaim I REALLY HATE someone.

That Ortom deserves any insult heaped upon him.A man who couldn't decisively handle the issue of farmers-herdsmen crisis in his state.He was waiting for Bubu to tell him what to do, and I heard he was even owing workers while in office.

Ortom didn't do anything for 8 good years in Benue, I don't even know why he was re-elected for second term.

That in itself was smoke screen. It wasn't his greatest test, he was using it to shield himself off responsibility. Other governors have dealt with worse and still had something to show for.

I shudder when I see people showering encomiums on the guy.

Still don't know why EFCC haven't arrested him yet. Maybe cause he's a member of G5 and Wike has secured safety for him from the president. For 8yrs no single person has said he did so so so & so things in Benue state. He became worse than his predecessor Gabriel Suswan. God please Make Rev. Fr. Alia to perform better than Dave Umahi of Ebonyi state. Benue state receives more federal allocation than Ebonyi state, still I can't understand what happens to the money.

Some governor's will make you think there's no money in there state, before Dave Umahi, his predecessor Elechi Amadi made everyone believed Ebonyi is poor, there's no money for projects, even though he received more federal allocation than Umahi did in his 8yrs.

But you guys are busy applauding him each time he blame BUHARI for herdsmen, while we are telling you guys ORTOM don't want to pay salaries or do any meaningful projects to benue state just making excuse with herdsmen

Ortom isn't just from hell, he taught the devil new wicked techniques, he deserves to have his own special hell fire named after him. May he never come near any public office in Nigeria again. He kept deceiving non Benue indigenes with Fulani heards men attack meanwhile he was more heartless than the heardsmen. Atleast, Buhari was more humane than him. I will choose Buhari over Ortom any day.
