In light of the recent developments surrounding JAMB, a statistics company has shown the remittances paid by JAMB to the FG since 2010.

It will be recalled that there was a change in JAMB leadership in 2016 by President Mummadu Buhari.
The current head Professor Oloyede is the former VC of the University of Ilorin. He has ensured that the agency has remitted more money than the allocated budget since 2017.
He was awarded an order of merit by the President in 2019.

The massive difference in remittance has highlighted the corruption that has been going on at JAMB.

The former JAMB head, Ojerinde, was arrested in 2021 by the ICPC (Independent Corrupt Practices Commission) for embezzling 900million from the Agency and has been rearraigned in 2023 with more embezzlement charges.

The man took away the JAMB registration process from private company hands and transfer to government exclusively.
