Governor Sanwo Olu Open Eko Bridge, Gave Serious Warning To Traders by haon: 4:41pm On Jul 09, 2023 |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A-QgWcCp6Wk Gov Sanwolu has open Eko Bridge after 15 months of closure. He gave Serious Warning to the traders under the bridge. He said Today been 8th of July 2023, I am happy to announce that the hard work and collaboration between the Federal Government and Lagos State Government has paid off with the opening of the Eko Bridge that was closed 15 months ago in March 2022, after a tragic fire. The bridge was severely damaged at the Apogbon section by a fire caused by illegal trading. The intensity of the inferno weakened major components and the supporting pillars of the bridge, prompting its closure for extensive repair on the entire stretch. This opening brings relief and convenience to the lives of Lagos residents, making our daily commute smoother, easier and safer. We are committed to maintaining and reinforcing the durability of this vital infrastructure.
