TemplarLandry:
100+100=200. That's a double loss.
1. He stole 100 Bucks from the safe.
2. He used the same stolen money to buy groceries of 70 Bucks from the store instead of using his own money. He was given 30 Bucks as change.
Do the math!

Like I said, this is debatable.
The store owner could have said give me the 100 Bucks you stole, now pay 70 Bucks for what you bought. The thief gives him 100$ Bill and the store owner gives him 30$ change.
On this premise, I can argue that the store lost 170 Bucks.

Nlfpmod please can you teach this guy math please? thank you

oga einstein...first of all the riddle didnt say that the oga caught him stealing the money so that analogy is useless

and even if the oga caught him and told him to return the 100 dollars, now:

number 1: the oga has 100 dollars in his hand back that the thief returned.
number 2 the thief now uses his own money to purchase a 70 dollar item....meaning the oga has an additional 70 dollars to the 100 dollars that the thief returned

so who now has the 170 dollars in his hand? is it not the oga? how did the store now lose 170? you said 200 first you now change mouth and say rubbish again.

oga...rest. youre wrong. let it go.

Read my formulated theories again.
In the last one, I said the store owner could have caught him stealing the 100 Bucks.
