These guys wake up and arbitrarily, I mean ARBITRARILY, set whatever price their hearts desire as the value they will wish to trade their dollar for Naira.

For example, they can wake up today and decide to sell $1 for N865.

And tomorrow, wake up and be fed up with N865 they will just increase it to N900.
And just like that, the whole Nigeria will become aware that Naira is whatever value these guys have set it.

I think the Govt, even Buhari tried to curb this by banning crypto then, and recently, declaring Binance Nigeria as scam.

That will not work o.
These guys will simply migrate to another platform and continue.

Nigeria has to have a talk with the Binance owners. Or the Govt itself can become a part of the p2p platform.

They have been the ones determining Naira price since crypto became popular in Nigeria.

Rather the president wants to give 8k naira to the poorest of the poor, such monies would have been channelled into the purchase of public transportation buses to easy the suffering as a result of fuel increase.
