No lone pairs

1. No lone pairs of electron
2. Have in mind that Bond pair also means shared pairs of electrons . Consequently, there are 7 bonding pairs .
This is because there are 3 bond pairs( shared pairs) in NH3 and 3 in BF3 and a 1 dative Bond between NH3-BF3 molecule. Total is 7 bonding pairs of electrons.

1) Great question! To answer that, we first need to draw the Lewis structure for NH3-BF3. NH3 has three lone pairs of electrons, and BF3 has zero lone pairs of electrons. So, when the NH3 and BF3 bond, NH3 will share a lone pair of electrons with BF3, and BF3 will share a bonding pair of electrons with NH3. This results in a total of two lone pairs of electrons in NH3-BF3.

To know the number of bonding and lone pair.

Firstly, the number of octect electron in N=5 and for H=1. Therefore drawing the Lewis structure, total number of electrons in NH3=5+1+1+1= 8 meaning we have 4 pair of electrons.

Sharing the electron, we have 3 bonding pair to H and 1 lone pair on N.
