Obaseki mourns passing of Hon. Samson Abu

The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has mourned the passing of a leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oredo Ward 1, Hon. Samson Abu, who passed aged 65 years.

In a statement, the governor described Hon. Abu as a political mobilizer who worked assiduously for the betterment and development of his people.

According to Obaseki, “I mourn the passing of Hon. Samson Abu, a leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oredo Ward 1.

“He was a great leader and political mobiliser, and worked hard for the development of his people.”

The governor commiserated with friends and family of the late Hon. Abu, adding, “May God grant all the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.”
