Most filling stations sell N568 in Lagos, with some like Petrocam selling at N565, it could be cheaper in Mushin due to closeness to Apapa port.

Part of the subsidy payments went to the people who transport the petrol, what was called 'bridging costs'.

The aim of the cost was to keep prices equal across the country. And yes, it cost a lot of money (and yes, some people used it to make fake claims , but I am getting ahead of myself).

Once the subsidy was removed, so went the bridging costs payments. As a result, price of transporting fuel is factored into the cost of fuel, which is why fuel is 560 in Lagos, and 700 in Ilorin, and 615 in Abuja.

One way we could reduce transport costs....FIX THE RAILWAYS.

I buy 568 in Lagos

Possibly the fuel imported by marketers are selling at that price.

617 is for places far away from Lagos where the product usually lands. Especially in the north. Transportation cost from Lagos to other parts are added that's why it's costlier in places outside Lagos. Forte oil in lekki has been selling at 560 too

They can sell for 1000 and another seller can sell him for 570.

As with fuel pump, not all filling station are thieves like those in your state.

#500 -#700 per liter for fake petrol.
