Honestly I believe the NLC is too deep in its support for Obi and LP that nothing objective could be coming from the trade union anymore. What do you expect in terms of honesty and integrity from NLC when they share offices with Labour Party and Peter Obi?

Are you in this country at all? This was the same reason the North supported Buhari despite in pains. Buhari didn't resign because the North didn't ask him to. All they want/ed is/was that a northerner should rule for more years just like the South do to Yar'Adua's short term in office.

Now, Tinubu has only promised the poor some kind of palliatives of which most of us know it's the new way to loot, and it was introduced by Buhari cabals. However, he has swiftly gave NASS the ₦70bn promised to them for ordinary furniture which when calculated would give each NASS member over ₦200m. If not that everyone criticized it, by now the salaries of politicians would have been raised by 114%, not even 10% or 40%, a whopping 114%. He has devised other means to enrich the politicians and only promising the poor masses.

He also promised to raise minimum wage and increment of salaries. He promised to use the subsidy money to invest in education, health, power, infrastructure, etc. but students got a hike in tuition fees instead and an inaccessible student loan bill passed into law. However, he has swiftly shared the subsidy money to state governors instead of putting it in the sectors he promised to invest in. From my point of view, the old man is busy buying and pocketing politicians. These are the reasons NLC and other bodies are threatening strike and protests? It's because the government is only promising them without action while taking action only on things that will benefit the rich. The earlier you wake up to the reality of the day, the better for you.

He asked you to be patient but people are already dying while waiting. However, politicians who can survive for more than 6 decades without payments due to the billions of dollars investment they've made overseas with stolen public funds are the ones he's busy compensating while the poor who can't survive for just a week are the ones suffering and waiting for manner that may never come.

Keep up with your good job, e go soon clear for your eyes. Let me end it with the adage "DEY PLAY"...!

keep quiet

Nlc have no moral justification to go on strike

The same nlc that kept quiet during cashless policy that killed people n destroyed businesses

Anyone that didn’t talk during cashless n is talking now should b shot instantly

Let me ask u a question, between cashless that many died, businesses shut down, many were stranded n now that it’s only fuel hike but u can go anywhere

Which one is worse?

where was the Igbo liberator when we were dieing in cashless policy?

I guess d liberator believed it will favour his candidate so he lock up

Anyone who didn’t see any bad thing with cashless but want to talk now should b shot dead

That’s pure double standard
