Nigeria's Interference on Niger Republic Coup will only bring negative effects in Nigeria.Imposing sanctions is not the way out.Below are some of the effects which I think might follow up in Nigeria.
1-Diplomatic ties will be cut off
2-Insecurity will increase because Niger will pull out their troops that are on joint operations with Nigerian Military in the Lake Chad region
3-Price of grains and Animals we use to buy from them e.g.Cows,Goats, Donkeys, Horses etc will increase thereby doubling the current food crisis we are facing.
4-As Nigeria cut off electricity supply to Niger, they will build dam on the River Niger(which runs through their country before flowing into Nigeria) thereby reducing the producing power of Kainji Dam
5-The military will end up overworking because of the fight in many fronts which in turn will give rise to internal security.
The relevant bodies and authorities should advice the president to use peaceful means to tackle Niger's issues. They can send in delegates like the peace ambassador Jonathan and others to talk to them.If they can't hand over back to the deposed president then they should appoint another civil leader before they will prepare for another election.

In addition to serial 4 , sanction in general is not good for businesses, since we cut them off from our electricity, those African countries that dangote refinery now they will have to think twice or at least have a backup plan Incase we decide to show them shege , instead of them to be sourcing for their fuel 100% from Nigeria ,a serious country will now make it 80% or less from Nigeria and the rest from other countries so that they can leave the other window open.

Though we are supposed to mind our business but he's the Chairman of ECOWAS,he must make a move first before anyone else;but peacefully and not militarily and sanctions.

Temporary till the coup plotters are dismissed.

Wrong, security will improve instead. The border with Niger will be properly mounted by the armed force, with no single fly coming in or out in the guise of ECOWAS free trade.

There are always other source, Niger on the order hand will bleed without Nigeria.

Let them feed themselves before building a dam, with paper in their account.

Any military action against Niger is an ECOWAS thing not just Nigeria. Every member will contribute troops.
