The law of Moses refers to a collection of laws and commandments that were given to Moses by God according to the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament). Many people think Jesus has come to abolish the laws given by God to Moses and other prophets before him. Jesus knowing the thoughts of people in the Bible had to openly confess about his mission in this subjec matter when he was asked "what his mission was".

Jesus’ statement suggests that while the designated places of worship are important, they are not the only places where God can be worshipped. The statement points to the fact that the hour is coming when worship will have to be outside the designated sites – “neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem.”[8] Jesus' words clearly state that the buildings or sites do not make the worship; the people do, and true worshippers worship in Spirit and in truth. The verse or passage it's taken from simply means that the presence of the Law created enmity between the Jews and the Gentiles. This is why there were constant battle that happened between the Jews and the Gentile nations around them.

And that same law stood as a wall separating the Jews and the Gentiles. The King James calls it middle wall of partition.

But when Jesus abolished the law of Moses, the wall separating us has been broken and we are now one in Christ.

There is no more special preference for the Jews. We are equal rights before God. We are now fellow heirs and fellow citizens of God's kingdom.

Their were many wrongs in the law he came to correct cos during his days and even in the OT times the law was mixed with traditions of men. The reason he came to correct and abrogate it. Stoning a woman caught in adultery and many wrongs in the law he corrected in the NT are a good example. The wrongs in the law is what was abolished. My truth hurt churchians. That is what truth does. I tell you what is hidden from you. Your bible was copied from some ancient books. So it has errors, contradictions, allegory etc. It is "God's" word written by the wrong ppl. He is the lamb of God that will end sin in the world not your individual sins.
