I have always been said that politics, tribe, and religion are three different things. If we cannot learn from our past, South Africa's ANC is there for us to look at. Those criminals don't care about your religion. The consequences of their actions don't care about your religion. So why make religion a basis for your votes? How can a sane human being look at ANY Nigerian politician and assume he cares about promoting Islam (or any other religion)? Those people are there to get rich and live a good life. All that fight for Shariah and insistence on having muslim-muslim tickets in Kaduna and Aso rock are strategic political moves. In fact, I believe many of them are closet atheists. I can bet my life that Buhari for example has spent more days in the UK than in Saudi Arabia but being the idiots that we are, we assume him being president will somehow benefit our religion.

One thing I have learned about this country is that contrary to popular belief, our politicians are in fact very smart. They understand that we have been enslaved by religion and they will continue to use that against us. You might be thinking that the guys complaining in this video have learned their lesson but just wait for 2027. The imams will as usual be paid to preach the benefits of Muslim-Muslim and the consequences of voting for an infidel. The "daddy" pastors will be paid to make the election look like a religious war. We will vote fools into power again and cry for another four years.
