Text: Proverbs 13:15 - Good understanding giveth favour: but the way of transgressors is hard.


God does not plan for us to be ignorant and live an unfavored life. But the choice is yours!

Man has become so obsessed with chasing material wealth that he forgets to chase after good understanding.

What is understanding ? Understanding is the power to comprehend and the capacity to apply these comprehended concepts accurately.
It's beautiful for us to note that we do not just stumble on understanding. It is something we look for.

Why get understanding then? Because once we get good understanding; it begets favor. Accurate Knowledge births understanding and good understanding births wisdom.
Hence, our pursuit of certain things is needless pain because with good understanding, we will have developed the ability to comprehend either people, situations or systems.

Truly God has given us all that pertains to life and godliness but how willing are you to make the choice? It is God's intention that we prosper all round, so why not pause and reflect if you have gotten understanding or not.

Could it be that you haven't gotten the expected breakthrough because you lack the understanding that ushers favour? God gives freely when we ask Him, why not take this moment and cry your heart out to God.

Prayer: O Lord, I come before you today knowing that you are a father who is ready to give when I ask. Please Lord, I need understanding, because I do not want my life to be void of favour.

I guess the kids dying of hunger everyday are not asking.

I guess people dying of malaria everyday are not asking for sound health.

I guess victims of accidents were not asking for safety.

I guess victims of kidnapping and rape were not asking for protection.

Until when will you people allow people help themselves instead of giving em false hope in a god that never be and will never be?
