I was on Facebook a couple of minutes ago watching a funny video, so the guy stood while drinking water and someone made a comment that, he should stop displaying an unhealthy habit that it is wrong to stand and drink water. Then I thought, when was the last time I even drank water sitting down. From my childhood days up till now, I drink water most of the time standing and never had any issues from that.

When I'm in front of the fridge, I'm standing. Even on the road, I stand to drink. So below was the commenters explaination of happens when you drink water standing

That was why I said, the number of time I stand is more than the time I sit. Even when Im eating sometimes, I still stand to drink because when I get to the fridge, I don't wait to get the table before drinking.

Sitting is better. My religion taught us to sit or squat when place to sit isn't available while drinking water.
