I have been postponing to buy some clothes for myself because you have to eat well before what you wear becomes a priority.

Still a jobless graduate, unable to find a job yet and unable to raise a capital to start something.

My footwear is already worn-out at the heel, and the wet season is making my trekking uncomfortable because water must touch my feet if the ground is wet.

I wanted to buy 2 shirts and two trousers and 1 footwear. Budget N10,000

The money wasn't enough for what I wanted. I bought 1 shirt, 1 trouser and a footwear.

1st picture: Shirt - cost N4,000
2nd picture: Jean trouser - cost N4,500
3rd picture: Rubber footwear- cost N500. I was actually happy that this footwear was cheap.

4th picture: That's the worn-out shoe.

I don't know if the future will remain bleak or a positive change will come. The small tiger generator my mother raised funds for so I can start a phone charging business coincided with the date of subsidy removal. Naso we pack am for the carton because it makes no sense buying petrol at 600 naira per litre for that business.

All the best Brother. Things will work out for good. Just keep adding value to yourself so that when the opportunity comes, you'll be able to earn it and hold your own.

My main plan na POS business. But lack of capital frustrate the plan. The phone charging business may not attract much customers from my observation because of location. It would have been better at 200 naira per litre. Imagine spending 1,200 to buy 2 litres and only 4 people charged their phones for the day at 200-150 naira each. No gain.

Those making it now need a large customer base.

just keep making excuses

Start somewhere first Oga

U can even see a customer that will support u if they see u are serious n for u to say no light in your area that means many will want to charge their phone

Y not at least try get 10k for fuel for a start, don’t expect any profit for the first 1 month( I guess you are staying with your mom) then after a mouth u would have gotten at least some customers who are regulars

"Phone charging may not attract much customers" says who? Except, if where you stay, there is constant power supply.

Aside that, if you think your location wouldn't work for the phone charging biz, move around, locate areas with large population with no constant power supply. But do you know with the Amount of money you used to do this your "shopping" is small enough to start the "POS" biz you had in mind..?

See, don't wait till you have enough to start, before you know, 12 months don go without you starting up something.

...You have said it all! The money he used to go do "shopping" is enough for him to start up.

It's obvious you miss economics class and don't know how to set your priority right
Buying clothes is not the best option, you should have used the money to Start a business ni matter how small and smile, the clothes will fade away and yet you haven't still empower yourself. You see the reason you will remain poor, the rich invest first and spend the remaining they have while the poor spend first and save the remaining they have.
