IN 2014, GEJ AND EMEFIELE PEGGED NAIRA RATE TO THE DOLLAR AT N180 : $1. THAT WAS DENOMINATION BY GEJ. AND IT WAS GOOD, LEGAL AND A PRESIDENTIAL ORDER. THEREAFTER, EMEFIELE SINGLEHANDEDLY REMOVED THE PEG. THAT WAS DEVALUATION, IRRESPONSIBLE AND INSUBORDINATION. FROM THAT TIME ONWARDS, EMEFIELE ARROGATED TO HIMSELF THE EFFRONTERY TO DEVALUE THE NAIRA ANYTIME HE WISHED. EMEFIELE BECAME NON SUBSERVIENT TO NATIONAL CURRENCY CONTROL AND PROFLIGATE TO WANTON DEVALUATION. EMEFIELE BECAME THE DEVALUATION DEVIL AND SO UNCONTROLLABLE THAT THE SUPREME COURT HAD TO INTERVENE IN SOME CASES AS WITH THE 31/12/23. EMEFIELE HAS BEEN CONTROLLING PRESIDENTS OF NIGERIA ON NAIRA MANIPULATION AND MISAPPROPRIATION SINCE 2014. |

One clear indication that the naira is still being held up artificially is the disparity between petrol price in Nigeria and other nations importing it. The fact that ours is lesser in price yet involves extra cost of transporting it back to Nigeria proves the forex rate is artificially keeping the price down. They cannot brainwash the black market folks into reducing rates. If demand wasn't high in black market rates wouldn't be going up. |

Of the Truth many people are to be blamed in this country not only Emefiele! But Emefiele and CBN is not the problem of Naira losing her value but unproductivity and economic retardations has left Naira at the mercy of devaluation and waste! Nigeria please be productive!Nigerians are suffering! |
