Nigeria youths doesn't have anyone in mind, they were even advocating for a party called YDP, youth democratic party, some of the youths already put their hopes on Osinbajo and not Peter Obi, I could remember that even after this, some elements of youths still tarnish Osinbajo image calling him errand boy, but we still believed in him and his economic prowess, Obi wasn't a big force so he had little support from youths.
2days to PDP primaries, Obi left PDP and joined LP, he still wasn't as popular as he was cos Osinbajo was the choice, after Osinbajo lost the primaries, Obi popularity skyrocketed thanks to Aisha and Marcaroni who played a vital role in endsars, some of the youths are skeptical about Igbo man ruling Nigeria due to the fiasco that surrounds ipob and Nnamdi Kanu, then what follows next was series of insults to those asking questions about Obi and his stands, I did not like Tinubu neither did I like Atiku but I need to be sure of Obi but what we get is insults when we question the candidacy of Obi, this made alot of us build our tent elsewhere and for me, I had to settle for Atiku.
The Obidients took the cyberspace and start insulting people, he gets social media power and when polls are conducted, he always win and Obidients thought it was a '"carry go" not taking cognisance of the 35-40% of those that always says they haven't decided, those are the people that are asking question and needs answers, at the end, the election moved into tribal and religious sentiments and everyone voted his or her tribe, the undecided ones had to vote a leader that they know they can criticize.
This is what lead to Obi failure, social media doesn't win election else Atiku would have won Buhari. The Yorubas are now taking over the social media insults and it might also destroy Tinubu chances if it is not checked, you can't force someone to vote your candidate through insults

Ikwerres are just three local governments, thats not even up to the 1 million Igbos in the lower Benue. Why would any Igbo man worry himself about what Ikwerres want to claim to be? If Ikwerres want to claim to be Japanese, thats their business, three local governments isnt really much in grand scheme of things in Nigeria
