5 Reason Why You Must Hire Freelancers From Nigeria. by chiedozie198100: 3:07pm On Aug 22, 2023
Afrobeat, the genre of music ruling the airwaves all around the world right now, is a product of Nigerian ingenuity. A genre that was created by the legend, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, has been stamped on the world map of popular music, by Nigerian youths.
With very limited access to resources, the youths have managed to turn Afrobeat into a multi-billion-dollar industry. And just as the African American youths created and put hip-hop/rap music on the world map, Nigerian youths pulled off the Afrobeat revolution. Same fit was also achieved in the movie industry (Nollywood).
But the unsung heroes that made these possible are the almost invisible young minds, both technical and non-technical talents, that mainly operate from the background. They have managed and controlled the entire value-chain of the Afrobeat industry. This talent pool of highly skilled and intelligent youths has always been in plain sight, silently waiting to be of benefit to the world. They are a ready-made army of great minds that the world needs to pay attention to.
The Asian freelance market has been known for a long while, as the go-to for remote freelance jobs, mostly in the tech space. They’ve established themselves as a powerhouse, and the world knows about this.
But I dare say that whatever experts you want to hire, as regards tech and non-tech remote freelance workers, Nigeria will give you what you want. There is a very large resource pool that you can choose from.
Nigerians are typically self-driven and have the mindset of succeeding against all odd. Most experts are self-taught and well versed in latest trends and technologies in any area they choose to specialize in. Are you looking for programmers, media experts, copywriters, tech writers of any kind, social media talents, etcetera, your best bet is to look the way of Nigeria.
They are really not hard to find, as they have a strong presence online, but they unfortunately go unnoticed or ignored. Over the years, the Nigerian youth has gotten undue publicity for some not too pleasant reasons in the cyber space. And this has quite reasonably cast a dark cloud on the entire youth population. But there are certain facts that need to be stated here; those that do these things are in a very tiny minority, and thanks to the Nigerian government’s conscious efforts to track them down, their numbers are reducing drastically. And with the explosion of web3 and cryptocurrency, most have diverted their attention from cybercrime to making legit money online.
Of all the reasons on why you should always look out for Nigerian freelancers for remote work, here are the 4 most important reasons:
1. INNATE INTELLIGENCE:
It’s a well-known fact, at least in the United States of America, that amongst the immigrant population, Nigerian immigrants are the most educated. Acquisition of education/knowledge is high in the priority list for an average Nigerian. If they can afford any form of education, they go for it.
And thanks to the internet, Nigerians have taken full advantage of this near free education source to acquire knowledge. A very high percentage of the youths, who may not have the financial means to get an education in a structured setting, have relied on the internet as a very viable opportunity. Whatever skill that can be acquired via browsing the internet, there is a sizable number of Nigerian youths well trained in it.

2. ALWAYS WILLING TO GO OVER AND BEYOND:
Getting a remote job for a Nigerian, almost always places a burden on him/her to deliver on the job. Repeat patronage is very high on their mind. And with the unfortunate employment level in the country, most rely on remote freelance jobs as their best alternative. And so, there’s always the need to do a good job of whatever task they are given. You can always be rest assured that you job is in safe hands with a Nigerian freelancer.......
