"Blood of Jesus!" I said in whispers. My aunt who had come out to receive me was startled and asked me what went wrong but I was too angry to explain.

"Aunty, didn't the electrician I sent money come here to fix the light??!!"

"Nobody came here o. Don't tell me you sent money to that baba without telling me "

I told her I did and she exclaimed that I had been scammed on my first day at Lagos.
