Actress, Bukunmi Oluwasina has opened up on her shared onscreen chemistry with her colleague, Lateef Adedimeji.

Recall that the duo played onscreen lovers in the famed movie, ‘Jagun Jagun’.

Speaking in a chat with The Entertainment Reporter, she said:” This is not the first time people talk about chemistry between Adedimeji and I. Its like that because when there are two actors, who are great actors, its always very exceptional and unique when they are paired together”.

Asked about the growth of Nollywood, she said:”I am happy that Nollywood is getting better every day because so many times I have heard people say ‘I don’t watch Yoruba movies. Now they cannot say it. Because people will tell you the kind of Yoruba movies you are missing. The thing about the movie industry is that once a person sets a pace, a lot of people will try to surpass it.It ends up looking like a competiiton but at the same time, it develops other people. Its a good thing that our culture and tradition are making its way into our productions”.

Well I think this argument about the origins of Nollywood whether from Lagos or from upper Iweka Road is good for Nollywood. Competition is good for Nollywood because it will make the industry grow.

But the question is will it be a healthy competition?

Will it take someone's life or maybe someone will commit suicide or will it call for some kind of discrimination in the industry?

Will this competition make us unable to watch good movies because the producer is from a particular region?

What about kaniwood?

We will see.
