Osun State Honourable Commissioner for Youth Affairs, Hon Moshood Olagunju Host the Southwest Youth Summit Team.


The delegates of Southwest Youth Summit led by Hon. Olumide Fasubaa paid a courtesy visit to the Hon. Commissioner for Youth in Osun State in person of Hon. Moshood Olagunju, on a mission to intimate the ministry about the activities of the Southwest Youth Summit, her progress, mission and vision.
The meeting started with a congratulatory message to the Hon. Commissioner on his appointment and wished him a successful tenure.


The delegate, introduced the mission, vision and the stands of the Southwest Youth Summit to the Hon. Commissioner, its impact on the Southwest youths. The convener explained to the Hon. Commissioner the importance of unity among the youth of the region, discussed extensively about the summit, the maiden edition and other activities performed by the organization such as the Boy child Advocacy.
The delegates presented to him the analytical report of the last summit held in January 2023, its impact on youths in the region, enlightened the youth more on getting involved in nation building and doing their quota for a progressive Nigeria.


The delegates announced to the Hon. Commissioner on their plan for the second edition of the Southwest Youth Summit, urged him for the support of the ministry representing the youths of Osun State for the actualization of the program, to foster continuity and provide an enabling environment for youths in the region.


Hon. Moshood Olagunju, was pleased to have the delegtes visit him and gave praises of their thoughtfulness to intimate the ministry. He assured the delegates that he is ready to support the organisation and the good course that will be of positive impact to the youths of Osun State. He said his office is always open to accommodate the youth.
The Hon. Commissioner told the delegates he would get back to them on when next to meet and discuss at length how the summit can be of good footing and its sustainability in the state.
The convener commended the Osun State government for yielding to the advocacy for youth in governance, having a youth as the Hon. Commissioner is highly commendable.
