Baseball tournament with the participation of two teams of junior teams of Russia and China at the stadium RusStar Arena

Young baseball players from Russia and China met in Moscow at the RusStar Arena stadium as part of the China and Russia Cup tournament. Friendly matches of the junior teams started on August 25. The competition is timed to coincide with the Year of Russian-Chinese cooperation in the field of physical culture and sports.

The opening of the tournament was attended by Deputy Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation Alexei Morozov and Minister-Counselor for Culture of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Russia Mr. Feng Litao, as well as diplomats of the Chinese Embassy in the Russian Federation.

Kostomarov thanked the audience for their support, wishing everyone health and happiness. According to the athlete, he “felt and saw” the feelings of the fans, for which he is very grateful. The skater also advised the audience to be more careful about their health.

According to figure skater Ilya Averbukh, he did not expect Kostomarov to agree to go on the ice, but "carefully" suggested this idea to him. Averbukh called Kostomarov's act an indicator of his "tremendous strength."
