Hello house, kindly recommend a fridge that can work effectively on 1kv inverter, no matter how small the fridge as long as it can take few bottles of water

However, here is the what's written at the back of the inverter. It's famicare 1000watts

Although on the carton, manufacturer state it can power fridge but I can't risk using it on my present fridge because it's a little big and power consumption is 152w/1.5a

I will go to showroom as advised but I will like you to help me look at the image below if that is enough to know surge capacity of the inverter

I checked the model on jumia and saw the surge as 1200W. It can't carry the 152W fridge.

It should work. My 80watts fridge draws about 600W when the compressor is starting which is well within the operating parameters of your inverter. But have you considered getting a 1.5kva inverter instead of a bedside fridge? You can sell this, add money, and buy a bigger one. That way you can take advantage of your current fridge's bigger capacity.

If the inverter can handle the surge, yes it can.

For example, my 1.2kva can power my 110watts freezer. This freezer draws around 1500+ watts for about 2 seconds when starting. The inverter has a surge capacity of x 3 which amounts to about 3.6kva for about 5 secs. So it works fine.

If it was one with low surge capacity like his, it's not advisable.

I went to the fouani store but the available lg I good find has no wattage specified at the back. Rated amp is 0.75. now, I checked some other stores and found hisense with 60w and 0.6am. what's your take on hisense ref093dr?

I don't have any recommendations. The most ideal would probably be a model that uses an inverter compressor. I haven't used one personally but I have heard folks who do say that they don't have surge. The compressor gradually ramps up.

The 60w hisense should work too.

It is not a popular brand. It is a German fridge. Got it many years ago. The brand is privileg.
