IMAGINE IF EKWEREMMADU WAS TRIED IN NIGERIA

Part of the technicalities would include:

1. The victim lied about his age, so mathematically all his stories will be lies.

2. Ekweremadu’s daughter was the one who needed the kidney, not Ekweremadu himself.

3. The human has two kidneys, so soliciting to buy only one is a civil offence not a criminal one.

4. Ekweremadu did not know that body trafficking was an offence.

5. A kidney is less than 25% of the human body, so removing a kidney is equivalent to shaving a large Afro hair and beards inclusive, something done everyday in ordinary barbing salons.

Somebody would then say that is legal reasoning, while another Nigerian would say the judgement is sound.

You then wonder why the police summarily execute robbery suspects behind their police stations.
