Appears to have collapsed again at dawn. Surprising that even at a time of almost maximum hydro generation due to the seasonal rains which incidentally reduces heavy air conditioner loads. Another government go, government come, black man remains black. 6 Likes |

Power was recently decentralized and ever since this new administrations in various states came into power I have been expecting most of them to come out with their suggestions on how to improve power supply in their various states but none except Lagos is willing to make the move, all they do is make excuses and wait for the federal government to act,the state governors are too dull, they can never ever grow with their small mindsets.the other day seyi makinde was shamelessly parading himself at the u.s Open as an attendee and most of you here where praising him,we hype mediocrity instead of shewing it. |

Why are the governors in the south wasting time? The recently signed electricity act that empowers the states to generate, transmit and distribute electricity in areas covered by the national grid should be an opportunity to finally provide enough power to their own people instead of relying on FG's national grid! Every state should produce their own power and leave the already burdened and ineffective national grid! 1 Like |

The different between tinubu and buhari na difference is in ethnicity. There are still killings especially the Christians and in the north, unemployment rising, travellings been made under pretense to save Nigeria, both of them are sick, old and have controversies surrounding their origin or education. Their supporters will be telling us to be hopeful same as buhari regime but it will land on their heads that as long as APC is in power which is a party formed with blood and deceit, we can never move forward. |

President Tinubu must know one thing - that even though he has signed the Electricity Board-into law, this can't change the morribond DISCOS into performance and the best is to : - either Pay those who invested Off now or - he increase the Number of New Power -Productions - Companies,by allowing the Experts like General Electric-etc,to have same leverage of operations e .g. the large Areas covered by these DISCOS is a Fraudulent Manipulations ,as they don't covered these Areas well but just wants to Collect Money for Services not rendered. • When last did they bring New -Transformers to different Areas? It's the same Old and epileptic Transformers everywhere,so no lights,no Prepaid Meters and everyday lights becoming a forlorn hope for most Nigerians! How can Lagos State be having just 2- Discos covering an estimated 23Million People? Industilisation is far away from Nigeria without Constant Lights! Lagos State Alone- Should Not have nothing less than 20- Power Distribution Companies and some Areas like Ikorodu and Epe can generate their Own Light by Construction of Dams on those Sea and Oceans surrounding them! These Areas can also sell their excess power to other States, when necessary! To President Tinubu:👇 Nigerians really are going along with you and Appreciate your efforts in getting many things done and repositioning Nigeria for the World but ,if you get Lights - Power to be Constant, then you will have *Solved 60% of the Nigeria Problems, because all other Sectors are directly and Indirectly attached to Availability of Constant Power/ light! So,watch your back in this Power Sector-as those who have ruled Nigeria and their Footsoldiers don't want it fixed because of Corruption ( as they want to kee the Status quo - so that NIGERIANS continue to wallow in Darkness) hence no Industilisation! Let the Story of this Power Sector Change Now because ,if most Investors you went abroad to tap comes here, their case may be like Dunlop, Michelin, Atlas Textile,etc- they all migrated away, Majorly because of Power + High Cost of doing Business+ Bureaucracy in Nigeria, due to gratification! -You need to step on toes and even Cut such Toes if need be- so as to put your name in History Book as a Father of Nigeria Industrialization! |
