Fix d economy. Banking halls are empty nowadays, roads are empty, our stomach are empty, no access to loan , high food prices, no job,low sales and patronage, empty accounts and this people are talking about passport.

Buhari was busy rewriting the demographic equation in favour of Libyan, Chadian, Nigerian, Mauritanian and Malian cousins. THEY could get NIN and international passports in a rush.

Even if they will later make provision for people to apply online, they should as a matter for urgency resolved those who had already made payment via remitta whose issues are yet to be free solved. These people are not just making any headways. Very useless set of people.

It is under communication ministry because it was as a result of the communication sector pushing for upgrades in the sector.
The ministry of interior did not push for such development.however the ministry of interior is adopting in as a criteria for issuance of passport.
Guess the problems that will occur between two ministries that are different in character and mode of working!
So it is how to solve a problem,,,security of the nin database,issuance of passports and compatibility with all departments that are dependent on that nimc to work effectively
