Job Description:

As a Front Desk Personnel at AfriLab Medical Diagnostics, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our patients and visitors have a welcoming and seamless experience. You will be responsible for a variety of front desk duties, including but not limited to:

Key Responsibilities:

Greeting and welcoming patients, visitors, and clients with a warm and friendly demeanor.
Registering patients and collecting necessary information accurately.
Scheduling appointments and managing the appointment calendar efficiently.
Answering incoming phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and professionally.
Providing information to patients regarding our services, pricing, and general inquiries.
Managing patient records and ensuring confidentiality and data security.
Coordinating with other departments to ensure efficient patient flow.
Handling administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining a neat and organized front desk area.
Assisting with billing and insurance verification processes when necessary.
Resolving customer complaints and issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.

Qualifications:

National diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a customer service or front desk role is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office).
Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.
Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
A professional and courteous attitude at all times.
