THE CHILDREN OF ANINI

The years of 1986-87 witnessed one of Nigeria's most known notorious drivers cum armed robber, Lawrence Nomayagbon Anini, fondly known as "grin LAW".

His notorious acts held Bendel State to a standstill and also gave the military era of that time daily headache. Ibrahim Babangida slept and woke up with plans to round up Anini. The mentioning of his name sends thousands into hiding. He was so notorious that the passing by of Anini in an area supersedes the present Nigeria curfew imposed by nearly all state Governors.

Anini is assumed to be Nigeria's most notorious armed robber. Notorious to have stolen from people and subsequently drew about in the streets of Oliha, Ore-Oghene and new Benin axis of present day Edo. He was known not to have been easily pierced with bullets. History had it that bullets never entered him because he was bathed and clothed in a shrine of powerful diviners.

Nearly 34 years of ANINI's ill-famed reign, his children are still tormenting us after their father had tormented our fathers. His children are now worse than their father who was globally known notorious. His children are countless, just like the waters. Too many to count. They are the POLITICIANS.

The Nigerian politicians are the children of Anini. They are his offspring unknowingly to Nigerians. The only difference is that they are legalise thieves. Their father stole with guns, they are stealing on currupt pen. They are evil, much more evil than their father. They had stolen more from us than their father stole from our parents. They are still stealing. They shall continue to steal without revolution. We demand revolution.

Their father stole from few; they are stealing from all. The children of Anini are worse than evil. They are the ones who intentionally hid palliative meant for the grassroots, particularly the less privileged. They are the ones now giving ultimatum - the ones allegedly claiming to have kept the palliative for another shutdown, the ones who now claim the products had expired; the ones who killed her citizens at LEKKI TOLL GATE in Lagos; the ones who refused to provide basic necessity - roads, electricity, quality schools, surviving salary scale and the likes.

Who is better ANINI or his children? Only time shall tell.

No revolution without the collective will of the people regardless of tribe, party or religious affiliations.

So long we on this divide continue to eat bread crumbs from the Masters table there will never be a collective will hence revolution is no where close.

Good analysis @Op!
