I woke up in the morning and I was to return to my base.
I was to return back to Benin from Nsukka. It's only peace mass transit that goes direct from Nsukka to Benin and its only one bus that loads per day, it usually leaves around 8-9am. I don't like going back early, so I would stay until it's 10am before I will go to their park.
When I woke up in the morning around 7 am, my father plucked a coconut from the tree in our compound, he removed the shell. It was 3 coconuts heads, he broke one and I ate that morning, I peeled oranges too and ate.
I was about to use the bathroom when my stomach started singing, they told me to use the toilet now before I board a bus. I did, finally I was on my way to catch a bike to the motor park. I started feeling some sounds on my stomach, I quickly got a sachet water and dashed into the bush.
I deposited manure for the owner of the land and left.

I got to the motor park, I didn't want to board onitsha bus, I decided to board Enugu board, that when I get to Enugu, I will take a bus direct to Benin city. No PMT bus going to Enugu at that moment. I crossed to the other side of the road and saw a sienna going to Enugu. His final destination will i be at liberty Abakpa. I joined other passengers.
Immediately we got to Opi junction, my stomach made a sound like that of a Dj testing his musical instruments. I felt a cold goosebumps, I stayed calm for some minutes, I noticed a sharp fart is about to come out, I was seating at the front, the windows are down, I bend my nyasg go one side, release am. I felt okay for a while.

I got to Abakpa and took another bus to peace park, I got there and everywhere was scanty, no bus loading to be in direct.
I decided to go to onitsha and take bus to Benin.
Looking across the road, I heard agbero bus loaders shouting onitsha 1500, I smiled and said to myself, e cheap oo, make I go enter that one.
We were loaded 4 per line and the bus was too tight that I couldn't move my legs.
Journey started and within some minutes, my stomach started signing out loud, making some funny sounds, the goosebumps returned and I kept a straight face. I calculated the time we would get to onitsha and it was still remaining like 1 he 20 minutes, I said to myself that I can endure it, if I get to onitsha I will use the toilet.
Everyone in the bus was having some conversations but I kept mute with a straight face. Onitsha became farer than what I know.

Finally we got to upper iweka and I came down, walking faster that ever, I go to Faith motors park at upper iweka, I asked the people there if I could use their toilet.
They said that they don't have toilet there, oh chimoo, wetin I wan do now.
I went and stood at at corner waiting for it to relief, If I should sit down, the noise in my stomach will return. I stood for minutes and I was calm.
It was a coaster bus loading and I like sitting near the window when traveling, I paid and went to sit near a window.
A 3 hours journey started, I was just praying in my mind that my stomach should stay calm till I get home.
Somewhere around ogwashi uku, I started raining, next I heard was a silent breeze leaving my anus, Chai I Don fart for this bus again. This time around, the shiit is now very close to coming out. This driver will not stop this bus now that it is raining. I moved my ass close to the outer part of the chair, I was only resting one side of my bum on the chair, I felt goosebumps again, I brought out my head and allowed the rain to be touching it.
Onitsha to Benin became more farer than Benin to sokoto.
The driver was running around 90 and it seems the bus was not moving.

I was praying silently that this shiit should not come out here and disgrace me. I rested on the body of the bus and held the car seat in front of me..
Luckily for me we got to Faith park at 2nd junction. I quickly crossed and took along going to my house. I live near the road, immediately I got to my junction, I came down and was running towards my house.
I saw many people in front of my compound plating music drinking beer. I ran passed them, I live upstairs and I have to climb two floors, I was climbing with speed. I reached for my keys, opened the damn door with the last strength in me. Letf my bags on the entrance and the doors opened.
Dash inside the toilet, immediately I sat down, I heard some funny sounds, that nonsense has left my stomach. I took a deep breathe.
It was at that time that I noticed that someone ran after me to know what's chasing me. I answered from the toilet and he laughed out, he said someone is doing birthday downstairs, come and take your own bottle of beer.
When I was done offloading, I called my family back home to let them know that I got home safe. They were shouting Thank God o, but they didn't know what I passed through.

It was the longest journey of my life, more than the 15hours that I spent on road from Nsukka to Kaduna.
Una dooh ooo.

Hahahhaha

This is so so hilarious.

You deserve an award for being able to have held it in until you got home. Some aren't so lucky.

The funniest thing at such times is that it is when you are so so close to the discharge depot that you begin to lose control of your holding effort and if care fails to be taken, that's when you mess it all up because you would have lost control while at the verge of ultimate victory.

There's certainly a lesson in this to be learned and applied to life.

Hahahaha! I’ve experienced something similar. It wasn’t funny at all! I was praying, casting and binding, sent my mind on a wild goose chase, recalling pleasant memories of my childhood, love life, imagining things just to deviate from my predicament. Hahahaha! Back in Nigeria I used to take two capsules of tetracycline before I set off on a long journey make man no go shit for body.
