I'm 22 and my girlfriend is 20. My girlfriend and I have finished school but she still lives with her parents and I live in my own apartment. I have a job and I'm decently financially stable (some times I slip). She works a part time job but is looking to start uni. I'm not interested in uni ( I drop out ) . She told me she was pregnant the other day and we both want to keep the kid despite our parents being against having kids at a young age. Should we keep the kid? Personally I want to keep the kid, and so does she.

If love is blind, then marriage is an eye opener.

I hope the kid is yours bruh.
That aside, the two of you are not young but you are both inexperienced.

Let her have the baby, you'll all be accepted at the end

once a young man can afford 3 square meals, the next thing he thinks of is marriage... smh, he now feels he's capable, not knowing he's venturing into a path of no return... these two that have barely passed teenage years thinks they are in love with each other, not knowing they are setting up themselves for disaster ahead.. this one wey just wan write jamb sef don dey do rubbish.. should you keep the kid? how many do we know that you've aborted or she has aborted... smh

this generation is doomed...

Aside the job and apartment you have, what else have you achieved? Because hoping on salary for survival without any other means of income in this Tinubu's administration can be suicidal.

I do frown at young men rushing into marriage at your age simply because they have a job. What if you loose the job, have you thought of how you're going to survive with your wife and kid in this harsh economy?

You should know that marriage is expensive, what you spend on yourself as a single guy daily would be a child's play compared to what you'd be spending in your home.
