The panel is too close to the roof, and I saw some videos of solar panels going up in flames at high temperature due to closeness to the roof. It included an Amazon superstore that panels on it's roof caught fire due to overheating.

They suggested using a high rack to keep space between panel and roof to 5 inches or more to avoid overheating.

Solar panels going into flames is not because the panels are close to the roof.
Now, wrong connection and poor cabling sizing is a primary cause of fire outbreak from solar panels.
Also, using mounting rack on Aluminum roofing would permanently damaged the roof if peradventure you're moving the solar panels to another location, maybe as a tenant.

The way we mount our panels, if removed it won't have effects on the roof in no way.

Also, when you look at the type of roof where the mounting solar rack are been used it's similar to the Gerald type of roofing.
